Gay Tennis Brisbane welcome all gays, lesbians and their friends to our social tennis.

The emphasis is on social and spectators are welcome too. All players have previous tennis experience although in some cases they may not have played for a while and are looking to get back into tennis on a social basis.

Tuesday night tennis averages 20-30 people every week.  We play doubles, a set of 8 games, with each person serving once each side of the court. Partners for each game are drawn at random, but taking into account a reasonable skills match and mixing different players up. Complimentary tea, coffee and a light supper are available during the night. Occasionally we have in-house competitions, and social events, sometimes a weekend away with a tennis court. Tuesday night tennis commences at 7pm, and finishes at 10:30pm, but you can arrive anytime within this period. Come to the shelter in the middle of the courts and introduce yourself and record your name for the night with someone sitting with the registration book

Saturday afternoon tennis averages 6 people. We play doubles, a set of 8 games, each person serving once each side of the court. We start at 1pm and end around 5pm, but join us anytime. It is more informal than Tuesday evenings.

We play next door to the old Fairfield Tennis and Squash Centre at a private court, 91 Ashby Road, Fairfield.

Park in the street, come in the gate and come round to the back of the house.
